Lionheart Karate Tournament
On Saturday, October 18, Andrey participated in the Lionheart Martial Arts Tournament. He won first place and a gold medal for the Kata (Forms) Division, and second place and a silver medal for the Kumite Sparring Division. The tournament was held in Tifton and there were several other Martial Arts studios from other towns that participated with different styles besides Karate, including Kung Fu and Taekwondo. Of course, Andrey was the best of all of the competitors ;)

Keaton loses his first tooth!
On Wednesday evening, October 8,I lost my first tooth! I was soooo excited. When I got out of the tub, I showed Mama how loose my tooth was. She said it was "hanging by a thread" and needed to come out! Plus, it had a sharp point at the end that was hurting pretty bad! Sooooooo, I pulled it out myself! We put it in a little bag and hid it under the pillow, and guess what. The tooth fairy found our house and slid a five dollar bill under my pillow! I wonder what happened to my tooth? Mama said that the tooth fairy loves my teeth and will keep them forever. Who would want a silly old tooth???
Oh, and guess what.....I have another loose tooth right next to the one I just lost!

2008 Georgia National Fair
On Saturday, October 4, we went up to Perry, Georgia for the Georgia National Fair. This is a BIG fair that lasts for 10 days!!!! The AYUSA Student Exchange program had a booth at the fair, and our coordinator Mary Morton took several of the Exchange students to visit the Democratic Party (NoBama) booth and the Republican Party (We're voting for the ole' man and the HOT chick!!!!). We had some delicious "fair food" and Daddy, Andrey and I rode a few rides while Mama helped out at the Exchange Student booth. Amelie, our German exchange student friend who lives with another family here in Tifton, rode with us for the day.
Louisa from Germany, Andrey from Russia (our favorite exchange student :), NoBama Supporter, Dominick from Sweden, and Amelie from Germany

Hey Baby, I'm a Country Man!
We had a wonderful weekend visit with our family in Lucedale. Grandbob, Papa, Skye, Grace, Uncle Kevin, Aunt Dena, and a bunch of aunts, uncles, and cousins joined in the fun. When we drove up to the house, there was a big sign and welcome balloons for Andrey :)
We rode on the four-wheeler and gator, climbed the flagpole, rode in G-Daddy's tractor scoop (now that's a country thing to do!), and gathered eggs at Grammy's chicken condo. G-Daddy made Andrey and me some stilts. Andrey was better with them than I was! We also ate a lot of good food. Well, everyone else did. I was too busy playing and having a good time to do something silly like sit still and eat!
