Mrs. Dean's kindergarten class sent home a booklet with "turkey recipes" by all the students. This is Keaton's!
My mom gets our Thanksgiving turkey from Dollar General. To get the turkey ready, she has to get all the groceries and my mom sprinkles orange pepper that's hot on it. The oven goes on 28 degrees. She cooks the turkey for 28 days. The turkey is done when I smell the oven and it smells like pizza when I come downstairs. We can have salt, dressing, brown chicken with ketchup, and sweet potatoes. A good dessert to have would be peanut butter and cereal with honey.

Skye is the Homecoming Queen!
On October 31, my cousin Skye was crowned Homecoming Queen of George County High School in Lucedale, MS. And, guess who the crown-bearer was?? ME! And I LOVED IT! I looked so handsome in my tuxedo, and did exactly what I was supposed to do. My family was very proud of me, too! Mama, Daddy, and Andrey were there on the sidelines watching me, and in the stands were my grandparents, more cousins, aunts, and uncles. After the ceremony we stayed for the game (well, I did until half-time!) but Andrey, Daddy, and Papa stayed for the whole game. It was Andrey's first high school football game!
Daddy helped me put on my tux - I LOVED IT! :)

Happy Halloween!
We celebrated Halloween on October 30 at the First Baptist Church Fall Festival, and then trick-or-treating at the spookiest house in town! I was a Power Ranger, Mama dressed up like Sarah Palin (!), and Andrey dressed up as Andrey (with his button that said "I'm Votin' for the Old Guy and the Hot Chick!") We had fun playing games, and Andrey and I both climbed the rock wall! I got my annual bag of popcorn from the "ghost lady" at the Spooky House! We also went to see Mr. Ray, who gave me a bag-full of candy! I love you, Mr. Ray!!!!

Andrey earns his Purple Belt!
The Vietnam War Moving Wall
The "Moving Wall" came to Tifton October 23-26, and it was a very moving experience to see the thousands of names of men and women who died in the Vietnam War. There were special tributes to the men from Tifton who died. We went on Sunday evening to see the wall, and Andrey and Mama attended the closing ceremony on Monday. Only 41 cities across the U.S. were selected to display the wall.
