Wow - I had a great time on Saturday showing my goats! I have three goats that I take care of every day. Sharpei, Tiffany, and Gabby (I named them myself :). Every morning and afternoon I feed them, and I have been working with them to get them ready for our first show! We were in the 2011 Tifton Area Market Lamb and Meat Goat Show on Saturday, August 20. It was held here in Tifton at the Tift County Multipurpose Livestock Building. Clipping, bathing, feeding, getting their health papers, working with them to learn how to walk with me....there's a lot of work that goes into it! But, I'm learning a lot about being responsible! And the hard work paid off! I competed in Showmanship and got a Participation ribbon and money; and also in the Meat Goat Weight classes and earned money for both of my goats earning 5th place in their classes! All together I won three ribbons and $31!! Can't wait until the next show!

A Visit with our Mimi
We had a wonderful visit on Saturday, August 31 with our Mimi - my great-grandmother. She lives in Hendersonville, TN. Mama had a great time with her grandmother, sister Courtney, and cousins Alison and Kelli - and we were glad that Uncle Scotty and Aunt Kim were there, too. We also got to meet Mimi's special friend, Mrs. Sandra - we were so glad to finally meet her!!! It was like a little family reunion :) Mimi introduced us to all her friends at Park Place, where she lives. On Sunday, we went to church with her at the BIG First Baptist Church of Hendersonville. I loved it - I went to a great children's class during the worship service and made some new friends, and then we went out to eat at Cheddars. We love you, Mimi!!!!!!

Nashville, Tennessee!
Daddy was asked to come and speak at a conference in Nashville, TN, and of course Mama and I tagged along :) It was at a BEAUTIFUL place - the Opryland Hotel! I loved it! We went to a really nice place on Friday night called The Stockyard Restaurant and my favorite part was singing with the guitar man and having my pick of a platter full of yummy desserts. We had a great visit with my great-grandmother the next day, and then on Saturday night we took a cruise on The General Jackson Riverboat! We had a great meal while we cruised down the Cumberland River and MORE COUNTRY MUSIC (I think that's all those people know up there...I was ready for some dance music ;) But the singers and dancers were really good, so I guess it's okay.
The Opryland Hotel's "Celebrity Service" Check-In was awesome!!! - I always knew I was a celebrity! ;)
We followed our luggage "through the jungle!"

A visit with the Gaspards
On Thursday, July 28, we arrived at our friends' home in Cookeville, TN. We love the Gaspards and boy do they ever have three pretty daughters! Allie Mack, Ella, and Maggie and I had a great time playing together. We also put on a dance show for our parents who of course loved every single minute of it and gave us their complete attention for the whole hour. We left their house on Friday morning and headed to Nashville. It was a great visit - we love you guys!
