Marco Island, Florida

Daddy had a meeting at the Marriott Resort in Marco Island, FL June 15-17. Marco Island is in southern Florida and is absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed the beautiful pools and beach, which had tons of shells. We enjoyed collecting them. I even got to meet a mermaid!!! The first night, while we were eating dinner outside, we watched a couple get married on the beach. This really bothered me - why would anyone want to get married on a beach? Maybe one day I will understand!







One of my favorite things were the warm soft towels we got at the pool - I LOVED THEM!

More Orange Beach and Gulf Shores pictures

Okay, here are some more photos from our trip this week. We did a lot of fun things, and celebrated Daddy's birthday at the beach! I picked out a cool cake for him that had a crab and a paper umbrella on it :) We also got him a Gulf Shores t-shirt and a big boogie-board. Mama took me to "The Wharf" and we rode a HUMONGOUS Ferris Wheel before going to see The Land of the Lost movie (which Mama thought was terrible and we didn't stay for the whole thing!). She said the only thing good to come out of it was the cute Sleestack photo of me :) OH, and our hotel had the coolest fishtank -we got to see Nemo, Dorie, Peach, Bubbles, and two scary eels that ate shrimp. That was definitely a highlight of the trip for me!

Orange Beach, Alabama

After our visit to see our family, we headed over to Orange Beach, Alabama, where Daddy had a meeting. We love traveling with Daddy to his meetings! The first thing we did was go to the beach, and then we went out to eat at this fun restaurant called Calypso Joe's. I had a grilled cheese sandwich and french fries. When the waitress came over and asked if we wanted dessert, I said YES!!!! How could anyone turn that down? I got a huge slice of chocolate cake and asked for 6 cherries to go with it :) I love maraschino cherries (just like my mama!) After dinner, we walked around the Orange Beach Marina and picked out our new yacht (hahaha)

Yonge Family Reunion

We had a lot of fun at the Yonge Family Reunion on Friday, June 5 in Lucedale, MS. Grammy, G-Daddy, Uncle John, Aunt Courtney, Rachel, John Neil, and lots of cousins, aunts and uncles (some that I didn't even know I had!) were all there! I also got to see Uncle Trey and Aunt Robin and their pretty girls (Alivia is soooooo beautiful!) We had a crawfish boil and everyone enjoyed that (of course I just wanted cupcakes and posicles!) After the reunion, we had a good visit with Grammy, G-Daddy, Nene, and Grandbob in Agricola, and I got to to to Vacation Bible School in Agricola for two days! It was GREAT! Aunt Courtney, Mama, and Uncle Curt went to G-Daddy's Sunday School class at Agricola Baptist Church.
