Washington, D.C.!

Our first night in Washington, D.C. was on Friday, October 12.  We checked into our hotel (which was in Chinatown!) and then took off to explore the city.  We walked through the National Mall, saw the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, World War II Memorial, the White House, and the Vietnam Memorial.   When we were walking back to our hotel, we saw them blocking off the streets and we got to see the PRESIDENTIAL MOTORCADE go by!  Mama told me that the President heard I was in town and wanted to see me :)
