A visit to St.Simon's Island

Hello friends!

We took a fun trip to St. Simons Island, GA April 20-21. My Daddy had a meeting there (YEA DADDY!) and we stayed at the King and Prince Beach Resort overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It was beautiful! I loved playing in the pool and hanging out with Mama and some nice people we met. Then later that morning we headed over to see our our friends John Catherine and Julia Rowan - you can walk to the beach from their house! It is so much fun. Julia and I played and I tried to sneak a kiss as you will see. We ate at a fun pizza place that night and then walked down to the pier and I got to swing and look at the beach at the same time!!!

The next morning Mama walked on the beach by herself - I have no idea why she didn't want to take me. What could be more fun than taking me with her? Well, anyway, she caught a pretty sunrise on the beach. Mrs. Catherine took Mama for a visit to the beautiful newly renovated Cloister at Sea Island - WOW! It was beautiful, she said. She took a picture of hte table where President George Bush and the world leaders sat when the G8 Summit was held there two years ago.

Here are some pictures from our trip!

A Visit to a State Park

On Monday, Mama and I went with Daddy to George T. Bagby State Park which is on the GA/AL border. We ate lunch outside at the lodge, overlooking Lake Walter F. George. Then while Daddy was in his meeting, Mama and I played on the big playground and I got to walk along the beach at the lake and play with all the shells. It was a fun trip :)

Easter Morning!

WOW! Easter is fun - we left some carrots out for the Easter Bunny last night and he came to see me! I had a basket full of goodies - like snakes, bugs, a plastic alligator - things like that :) It was great - I had so much fun playing with them that I didn't want to hunt the eggs he hid for me in the front yard. I couldn't care less about hunting eggs! HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Easter Egg Hunt and Lunch with the Bunny!

On Saturday, April 15, we went to a very nice Easter Egg hunt and lunch with the Bunny! The Easter Bunny brought Dora the Explorer (one of my new favorites!) and Minnie Mouse with him! I had so much fun dancing with them and holding their hands. I seemed to enjoy them more than any other boy or girl! I couldn't care less about hunting for eggs - I usually just find one and eat the candy inside, and that's enough for me!

A visit from G-Daddy and Grammy

Last weekend I had a special visit from my G-Daddy and Grammy! We had such a great time together and they brought me a BATMAN OUTFIT! WOW! They played with me and read with me and it made me very happy. We took them to the Georgia Agrirama here in Tifton - it is an 1880's settlement with real live people and everything! They re-enact what it was like to live long ago. They had a Folklife Festival, and one highlight was the Turpentine exhibit. We all enjoyed seeing G-Daddy relive his memories working in the Turpentine industry to put himself through college. He even made a donation of a tree stump that had been used to get turpentine years ago. We got to ride the train, eat ice cream at the country store, see the sawmill in operation, and Mama even churned butter! WHEW! That is hard work. I'm glad mine comes from the refrigerator!

Look at me in Daddy's jacket!

When my Daddy was a little boy, he wore this jacket! His grandmother made it for him! I wore it to school yesterday because we had a "Teddy Bear Picnic" - I took my Teddy Bear that my Mimi gave me for Christmas in 2004. Thank you, Mimi! She also gave me my very favorite storybook. Do I love it??? YES SIR!!!!!! (I say Yes Sir very well now - to Daddy AND Mama! :) :) :)

Dressin' up with Keaton

I like to dress up like BATMAN!!!! As you can see, my outfit is kind of, well, interesting. It's an old Catwoman mask that Mama had (don't ask), whatever I happen to be wearing (such as Chicken Little pajamas), boots (rainboots from my Aunt Brenda) and a batcape (one of Mama's black camisoles). I recently upgraded to a real Batman t-shirt and black pants. I like to chase the bad guys, especially TOOTHPASTE (a.k.a. Two-Face). Aren't you proud of me, Uncle Eric!!!! :)

A trip to Athens, GA

My Mama and I went with Daddy to Athens, GA on one of his trips and had a great time! For those of you who don't know, Athens is the home of the University of Georgia and is one great town! One of my favorite things was the chocolate chip cookies in the lobby of the hotel every afternoon. That was GREAT! And, I liked saying hello to all the nice people who checked into the hotel while we were having our snack. We also went to a beautiful park that had birds and wildlife to see. I added my own touch of wildlife to the place :) Here are some pictures from our trip. The girls you see were at the banquet we went to on Saturday night - they thought I was SO CUTE and told me I was a CHICK MAGNET!!!!! heehee

The first picture is one of me listening to "my" IPOD and my favorite song: BATMAN!!!!!!!!!

Here is my Mama's current favorite picture of me :)

Here are pictures of us at Bear Hollow Wildlife Trail! Check out the bald eagle! My G-Daddy says........You can't soar with the eagles during the day if you hoot with the owls at night. We saw some owls, too, but I like the Eagle the best :)

CHICK MAGNET pictures! Apologies to my girlfriend Julia - I'm sorry Julia, I promise I love you the most :)

I had a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS!

Hi everyone! We had a wonderful Christmas in south Mississippi with my family there! Santa Claus came to see me and I got some great presents! One of my favorites is a TRAMPOLINE from Grandbob and Papa. I LOVE IT! Thank you so much. Here are some pictures for you to enjoy. The first one is me dressed up like RUDOLPH. And, there is one of my Mama, Daddy, and me on Christmas morning.

Christmas pictures

If you don't believe in Santa, these pictures will prove to you that YOU ARE WRONG! He came to see me on Christmas morning to give me my presents. He told me he was really tired, and and I was his last stop before he went back to the North Pole. He brought me lots of presents including "A Snowman and a Snake" - the two things I asked for this year!!!

Papa and I had so much fun on Christmas afternoon!

One of our Christmas traditions is to ride on G-Daddy's Red Neck Sleigh! Here are my Aunt Courtney, Uncle John, and Rachel and John Neil on the RED NECK SLEIGH! YEE HAW!

More Christmas pictures

I got to visit my G-Daddy at his Edward Jones office in Lucedale - he has lots of fun things to play with there!!!

My cousins Rachel and John Neil got a REAL LIVE PUPPY FROM SANTA CLAUS!!!!! Her name is Dottie, or Spottie, I can't remember - but she is really cute and best of all she survived after I played too hard with her. She's a little smaller than our Georgia May!!!

We had Christmas dinner at Grammy and G-Daddy's! It was fun, since I got to watch the "GRINCH" while everybody else ate. Grammy, you are a great cook! I especially like your white pretzels!!!!

Uncle Eric and Aunt Gina gave me a BATMAN and a FLASH action heroes!!!! I love them!! I play with them, bathe with them, and sleep with them, so I guess you can say they are part of the family now!

Grammy shares a secret with me!
