Tinkering around

I am so excited about summer!  Mama and I went to the Tifton-Tift Co. Public Library today and signed up for the Summer Reading Program - there are awesome things to do there all summer long :)  She and I had fun today building something pretty special at the library - looks like a pirate ship to me!

Recital Day!

I had so much fun at my big dance recital yesterday!!  It was AWESOME!  I loved being out on the big stage doin' my moves.  I'm looking forward to taking Hip Hop class at Carolyn Ellis School of Dance again next year!

Outside my dressing room!

With all my back-up dancers.........! ;)

Dress Rehearsal!

Here's a video of me at my Dress Rehearsal for my big Dance Recital with Carolyn Ellis School of Dance at the UGA Conference Center!  I'm sorry my Mama accidently cut off the end of it, but this give you a pretty good idea of my dance - especially my "solo" at the beginning :)  Also, sorry if Mama's hollering gives you a headache ;)

My sweet cousin Henry!

Last weekend, Mama and her friend Mrs. Angie went to Atlanta for some "girl fun" :)  They spent the last night there with Uncle Eric, Aunt Gina, and my new little nephew Henry who was born on March 28.  I was so jealous that she got to see him, but hopefully I will get to see him soon!

Mother's Day 2012

Daddy and I made sure that Mama had a VERY HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!  I drew a surprise message for her in the driveway, and Daddy and I went shopping at one of her favorite stores in Tifton and got her a cool card.  After church, we went out to eat at Chili's.  I love my Mom (and she loves me!!)

Keaton performing in the Third Grade Spring Musical

My Third Grade Musical!

On Wednesday, May 9, I performed with all the Third Graders at Annie Belle Clark for our Spring Musical!  It was called, POSITIVE...A CELEBRATION OF HAPPY THOUGHTS.  This is what my Mama wrote for the PTO PARENT EXPRESS, which is a newsletter she sends to the parents.  Mama was the President of our PTO this year :)

The Third Grade Spring Musical was POSITIVELY DYNAMITE!

Our Third Graders, under the direction of Music Teacher Mrs. Betsy Jones, presented a program entitled  "POSITIVE...A CELEBRATION OF HAPPY THOUGHTS."

After beginning with the STAR SPANGLED BANNER, they taught us to DARE TO DREAM, reminded us that THE FUTURE IS CALLING US, to always stay POSITIVE, sang I'M LETTING GO, shared I'D RATHER BE HAPPY, and that the future is DYNAMITE!

Parents, 3rd grade teachers, and all special guests also enjoyed selections played on the students' recorders, and hearing the students accompany songs with our ABC's amazing DRUMS!!

Our school is so fortunate to have such a fantastic music program that enriches the lives of our students.

Third Graders, we are proud of you and know you will go forth from Annie Bell Clark with many happy memories!

RA Recognition

On Wednesday evening, May 9, our church held a special recognition service for the RA's and GA's in our church.  I'm second from the right on the stage :)  I was recognized with my 3rd grade RA class, and Daddy even got to get on stage to with the 4th grade RA's that he teaches (that means I'll have Daddy as my RA TEACHER NEXT YEAR!!!)

I love Miss Haley

Miss Haley Mayne "boysitted" me yesterday (that's what I call it - I am not a baby so no babysitting for me!) and took me to see "The Avengers!" I loved it!  She is one of the best boysitters around.  I love you Miss Haley!

First Dance

Mama and I had so much fun tonight..Mama played her flute in the wedding of one of our special friends, Brittney Smith (now Brittney Kirkland!!), and then we enjoyed the reception at the Country Club.  They had an AWESOME band, and of course I was all over the dance floor with my moves.  I asked my friend from school and church, Audrey Reddick, to dance with me to "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'" and she said yes :) It was very different from my usual "hip hop moves"....but it was still kinda fun.........:)

There's no Bizness like SnowBizness....

Mama took Erynn Allison and me to SnowBiz on Wednesday after school!  They are only open in the spring and summer and have TONS of flavors of shaved ice to choose from. I had a Butterbeer, Erynn had Lemonade, and Mama got a Sour Apple flavor.  COOL!!!!
